About Tyler

Native of North Texas, Tyler's passion for Lighting Design took root in high school. He is currently studying at Texas Christian University for his BFA in Design with an emphasis in Lighting. He designs for local production companies, including the Stolen Shakespeare Guild. Tyler is also the resident Lighting Designer for the TCU School of Music's Opera Department. He has designed for multiple Theatre TCU productions, including, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Real Inspector Hound, and Sexual Perversity in Chicago.
In his spare time, Tyler expands his knowledge of sound production while working for the Robert Carr Chapel at TCU. Additionally, he is a Media Intern at the University Christian Church, where he continues to focus on both sound and lighting design.
Tyler has received numerous awards, including obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, as well as being a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
After receiving his Bachelor's, Tyler plans on working as a freelance lighting designer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
