Here we are, once again at the FWCAC. Or, more specifically, the Scott Theatre. Every two years, Theatre TCU builds a show at our theatre, and then subsequently, we take it all apart and semi-tour it across town. This time, the name of the game is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
An interesting musical, not one of my favorites, but still it is a musical, and I love to program for musicals! To top it off, my mentor, Michael is both the scenic and lighting designer, which gives me the opportunity to program for him! First time experience with him, however I feel comfortable and confident rapidly typing commands onto this Ion. Granted, I could have been faster with my own laptop, but still, it is nice to actually have a command surface with macro keys rather than trying to remember which keys on my laptop are which commands.
But I have to admit, this show Is looking pretty good, and surprisingly, sounding good as well. And despite a couple of little bumps along the way, we are still on track and plowing ahead into Act II.
Looking forward to tonight!
